De Sering is host to a great scale of events. From a queer techno party to an unlimited wine painting course, from a pop-up nail salon to a Nigerian culture day. Click here to see what's coming up!

De Sering is a unmanaged space. This means that we try to facilitate the initiatives and plans of you and our guests. We are not trying to set a certain 'style' or cater to a specific group. We do like variety, cross pollination, and making combinations between all kind of events.

Organize your own!

What do we offer? We offer the space for free or for very little money. We help out with promotion by putting your initiative on our website, socials and to our subscribers in our monthly update. Because of the great amount of various events taking place and limited resources we cannot offer extensive help with setting up for your event, working out logistics and the like. We will however do the best we can!

What kind of events can take place? Anything within the physical limitations of our place! We have over 180m2 of floorspace inside available. We can seat around 130 people, but aim more often for 90, and host 275 people standing and dancing. We have an extensive sound system, a basic lights set-up and large kitchen.

Keep in mind however that our space is one open room (kitchen and all), in which parts of the room can be sectioned off with curtains but are therefore not soundproof. In this space we serve lunch or dinner on most days. In our experience, we can easily combine many types of goings on. A private meditation course on a Saturday night is going to be hard though...

Interested in doing a public event like a pop-up, techno party, jazz improv night, lecture or boardgame club? Check out more detailed information here.
