Catering information

Find answers to the most common catering questions below:

Do you have sample menus? What options do you have and can I request a specific menu?

We do not have set samples menus as all of our events are different. We suggest checking out our social media (@testtafel or @de_sering) to see examples of our menus and the kind of food we make. If you do have a specific request for a menu, there is an extra charge. Please contact us for more details.

Can you transport the food? How much does that cost?

We do not currently have our own large mode of transport. We are able to provide food locally with our bakfiets or at a low cost, but any further would incur travel costs for hiring a vehicle. Please contact us for pricing.

I want to collect the food myself, when can I do that?

You are more than welcome to collect the food yourself. Collection time varies depending on the day of your event, but we usually suggest late afternoon/beginning of the evening for collection. Please contact us to decide on a more specific time.

I would like servers at my event. Do you have people available?

We can provide staff for your event. This incurs labour costs which vary depending on the nature of the event.

Can you provide drinks?

Yes, we can provide drinks. We have an ever changing selection of non-alcoholic drinks, beers and speciality wines.

Do you have a maximum or minimum amount of people you cater to?

We do not have a minimum or maximum. We evaluate every catering request to make sure that we can provide the food that suits you, your guests and your event.

Can I use your equipment at my event?

We do have certain equipment available that can be leased out for caterings. It includes: plates, cutlery, induction plates, pots, pans and everything necessary to serve the meal.

The cost of renting equipment is usually waivered if the catering is for a social or non-profit purpose, dependent on the organisation’s financial means.

How far in advance can I book a catering?

We recommend letting us know as soon as possible so we can stay organised. The kitchen works two weeks in advance so this is our minimum notice request. Please contact us to set a date.
