Timelines

A series of photographs stemming from a certain way of looking at the urban environment. In the age of the Anthropocene we are often surrounded by our own past, which naturally influences the present. These remnants often contain historical ideas, cultural heritages from generations or maybe even civilizations before us. You could see it as a sort of geology of society. With my camera I try to loosely depict these different layers in a single image, to not forget how time passes and things change. Some too slowly, others too swiftly.
