'layered' Expo by Pauli Mast

Pauli Mast (they/them) is an Amsterdam based visual designer who photographs and makes analogue collages.

Through their lens, different layers appear behind the familiar, the obviousness of everyday events and the apparent simplicity. They try to illuminate these observations in their photos and challenge them self and others to connect contrasts. Lightness, darkness, simplicity and chaos, purity and details are often subjects in their work.

wien series | 2023 is the first collage work they have made and will be exhibited for the first time during this exhibition in De Sering.
